Description

The Horned Armour Snails (also commonly known as Pagoda Snail, Porcupine Snail) is a freshwater aquarium snail originating from the Moei River and its tributaries in Thailand.

This snail thrives in a well maintained, high oxygen tank with fast water flow (or high aeration) and a high GH level. It prefers a sandy substrate to sift through with several smooth rocks to climb upon. Take care that its horny shell does not catch on anything in the tank and prevent it from moving.

In the aquarium, it eats flakes and granulated food as well as cucumbers and other vegetables.
