At Aquasnails, we hand pick our mahogany bark tubes/caves.
These mahogany bark tubes/caves are formed out of mahogany bark. All pieces are open on one side and are ideal to breed large cave dwellers, plecos and other catfish. The opening has a diameter of at least 10 cm. The other end of the tube/cave is closed and the tube is weighted on that side to ensure that it sinks.
They can also be used vertically as part of an aquascaping to re-create tree trunk/bough effect.
The length varies depending on the piece and we have various sizes.
