Description
In a planted tank the micronutrients contained in the tap water or brought into the system with food might not be sufficient, which leads to poor plant growth. Mikro Basic Complete Iron Fertiliser adds the most important micronutrients of iron, manganese, copper, zinc, boron and molybdene. Moreover, it is rich in potassium and magnesium. The nutrients are stabilised in different ways and thus remain available for the plants for a long time.
The tank is supplied with the basic micronutrients either by our Mikro Basic Complete Iron Fertiliser or by Mikro Spezial Flowgrow.
Mikro Basic Complete Iron Fertiliser adds the micronutrients iron, manganese, zinc, boron, copper and molybdene and the macronutrients potassium and magnesium. This makes a lot of sense especially for a society tank with high numbers of fish as you can be sure that all the necessary nutrients are added. The macronutrients nitrate and phosphate are brought into the tank by the fish stock. In tanks with lesser numbers of fish, they have to be added by further fertilizers, like Makro Basic NPK.
In our Mikro Basic Complete Iron Fertiliser , the nutrients have been stabilised in multiple ways and especially strongly, which keeps them available for plants in the water an especially long time. This complete iron fertilizer thus may be added once a week or daily.
Compared with Mikro Spezial Flowgrow, our Mikro Basic Complete Iron Fertiliser has the advantage of strongly stabilised nutrients by the chelators EDTA, DTPA and HEEDTA. It is thus suitable for daily as well as weekly fertilization and makes adding all the vital nutrients to your tank very easy. Of course, this fertilizer can also be used in tanks with shrimps and other invertebrates. Its very low copper content is stabilised and thus absolutely harmless for the inverts.

This dosage suggestion is just a guideline. The dosage may have to be raised or lowered depending on the conditions in your tank in order to give you good results.
