Shrimps Forever astaxanthine is specially developed to enhance the coloring of the shrimp. Astaxanthin is the most powerful colour enhancer and ensures a better colour coverage, tighter lines and much clearer patterns. Astaxanthin is a substance which enhances especially the red colouration for shrimp and therefore is especially useful for, for instance, Crystal Red-, Wine Red-, Red Pinto shrimp etc.
Astaxanthin is structural related to the well-known carotenoids β-carotene, zeaxanthin and lutein, but has a 10 times bigger effect than the beta-carotenes.
Astaxanthin enhances not only the intensity of the red colours but also ensures greater pigments for all shrimp. More pigment means a more beautiful and intensive colour of the shrimp. Moreover astaxanthin has a vitamin-effect and therefore has a positive effect on the fertility and the immune system of shrimps. It’s also suitable for crayfish, crabs and other crustaceans.
Ingredients and dosage
Astaxanthin and minerals. Once a week half a spoon (included) per 100 litres of water.
