Description
Vallisneria nana, commonly called ‘Vallis Nana’ or ‘Vals Nana’ is a thin leaf, grass-like type of Vallisneria that looks more like a tall hairgrass than the other usual Vallisneria. It is extremely suitable as a mid-ground plant, but can also be used as a background plant in small aquariums, growing tall and fast to create a jungle like appearance. Vallisneria nana produces offshoots very readily, so compact vegetation will soon develop in good conditions and can grow to the height of your aquarium. They are nutrient loving plants that anchor deep into the substrate.
