Black Helmet Snail (Neripteron sp.)

3.90 inc. VAT

This snail looks similar to the Black Helmet Nerite Snail (Neritina pulligera) but is a rarer variety. It is an excellent algae eater in any aquarium.

Its pretty black shell is undoubtedly less attractive than the more colorful shells of other algae eating snails in the fresh water trade. However, it is much more effective than the other Nerite snails, does not reproduce in captivity and better still, very rarely lays lay eggs unlike other neritina species.
